Deep inside the forest... it was a rainy day, thus dark. I had to put the camera on the ground, and I wasn't able to see the contents of the LCD screen properly.

This mushroom was the only one around. I'm glad that I've stumbled upon the little thing.

Beautiful shot, marred only slightly by the fact that the leaves to the right are better in focus than the mushroom... very nice though.

New life emerge from all that are dead and in recycle. You captured it well with the focus and blurr for the background, gives it depths, and a close up personal to look closer at wild life. New born.

NICE shot! I love the look of it...with the leaves. It DOES look foresty (foresty? *L*)

you don't know how many times I've put my camera on the ground....trying to get a shot of something...and not being able to see through the lil window viewer. And I can never seem to capture anything (it's always focused on something else...like the background). blah! YOU got it just right. :)

Very nice. I do like the focus you choosed for that photo and how good the colors combine together.

That is beautiful.

I love the colours, the focus and everything. It's hard to believe you weren't able to put much into the composition - the way the green is above the mushroom gives a very nice balance to the picture.

Personally overall I think the dead leaf feeding into the mushroom which is spreading the green out the top shows it in its environment and gives a story of the mushroom's place in the forest. Then again I might just be 'seeing things' again. ;)

Well done, incredible shot.

lovely photo , though...mayby a little bit more focus on the mushroom !?

it seems that most of the focus is on the dead leaf to the right...

oh , and one more thing...i love the colors and light in this shot , it´s amazing :D

The mushroom is in focus, but the DOF is extremely small. This is due to the aperture of F2, as it was very dark. So the focal plane is a bit weird.
