water mill

Again, I'm not really sure about the category to put it in. Is there somewhere a general description what kind of photograph is meant to be in there? A category FAQ?

Now to the photo: Invited to a little party, I managed to take some photos of a water mill (I take my camera almost everywhere, just for the case... ). It's not a real mill, only a model with exactly the right size to photograph. I passed by with my bike very often in my pre-photography time and didn't take care of the thing - until today.

Color photos didn't look good because of the flashlight. And the b/w version seemed to lack something - that's why I added the blue tone later on (fits the water, somehow).

Planned to be a print, the border is only at the bottom - if anybody who purchases one doesn't like it, it can be easily cut of (result: a 1.33 ratio photo). I think it's better than forcing people to live with borders, if they don't want them (and the other way round). This only for the case that somebody buys one... until now, I sold no prints.

The water is milled by the water mill. The model mill itself doesn't mill anything else.
